Hello SMBS. I am Megan Watson and I am thrilled be a part of the Bear community. After graduating from Baylor University with a BA in sociology, I moved to Houston to begin my 23 year career in public education. I served as an ELA Teacher and as the Head Coach for Cross Country & Track and Field in both Katy ISD and Cy-Fair ISD before coming to Spring Branch ISD. The last 10 years were spent at Memorial Middle School as the 8th grade Team Leader for English Language Arts and as a Cross Country &Track and Field coach. In 2014, I earned my masters in educational leadership at the University of St. Thomas and have continued my involvement with Track and Field at the National level, serving 9 times as a USA National Team Coach. My son Mayor is in first grade at Nottingham Elementary and my husband, Wayne Watson is a recording artist and serves as the worship leader for Chapelwood UMC. Proud to be a BEAR.
